Hello Friends & Happy New Year!!
It is the 1st of the month, which means it is time for a new Challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon!! This month our Challenge theme is PINK and Ribbon!!
I just LOVE Pink!!
So here is my inspiration piece, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.
I have been in a Tussie Mussie kind of mood!
This one is Pink and Lovely!!
Let me tell you more about it...I just love the Silky Rose Crushed Ribbon that I used as the hanger for my Tussie Mussie! I used my Bow it All Tool to create the fabulous Triple loop bow out of one of my favorite Seam Bindings Rose.
You will find them both at Really Reasonable Ribbon along with a lot of other goodies that I used to dress up my Tussie Mussie!
I used my Pink Heart Shaped Tussie Mussie Digital Collage Sheet Base and my Romantic Heart Focal Bases sheets that you can find in my etsy here.
The Center focal of that adorable little girl is an image from the new set Called Victorian Cuties that I altered from Gecko Galz!
In both the photo above and the one below you can see the fabby vintage ivory pom poms trim that I used to outline my focal. I used a button from the Vacation Button Totes, and tied that sweet little button with another fav of mine....Peppermint Baker's twine!
The sweet little text boxes are from the one collage sheet mentioned above. I have also used another college sheet set
Tiny Conversation hearts to create the little vignettes on the sides of my heart shaped tussie mussie!
Yumminess!!
That Pink silky crush ribbon...reminds me of sweet frosting...or pink chocolate :0) Love it! Below you will see how I used the Pink Satine Double Ruffle Ribbon layered with the
Textured Two Tone Rose ribbon and wrapped it around from the front to the sides of my Tussie Mussie.
I also have used some Baby Pink mulberry roses, and Pink Leaves also from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The Rose on the front is the 15mm and the ones on the sides are the 20mm.
It is more clearly to see that the tussie mussie is Heart shaped when you see the sides and the back. For the back of my cone, I used the creamy white heart shaped base on top of my cone, you can see how well they fit together. I used the number 14th from my Pink Christmas countdown Digital Collage sheet.
I trimmed the Pink Double Ruffle Satin so that it was tucked under the front of my piece and wrapped around the sides...only the Textured Two Tone Rose Ribbon goes all the way to the back, where I have tied it in a sweet little bow.
Another Vacation Totes button with Peppermint Baker's Twine as well as a Baby Pink 20mm Mulberry Rose were used in the tiny vignette on the back.
Here is a look at the left side.
I didn't add an additional heart shaped bases to the sides of the cones. I just left them as is. In this photo above, you will notice I had not added the roses to my digital collage sheet yet. I had just printed out some of my paper to see if my template would work...and was super happy to see that it all matched up...LOL
Below is a close up.
I used another Tiny conversation heart, 20mm baby pink mulberry rose, pink button from the vacation totes...and peppermint baker's twine!
I sure hope that you have enjoyed my
Romantic Heart Shaped Tussie Mussie!
I can't wait to fill it with some goodies :0)
Here are the collage sheets below that were used in creating my
Tussie Mussie.
The Smaller heart base focals (which is the same size as the heart in the lower left of the sheet above, you just get more choices of coordinating colors, and smaller ones that fit on my coordinating fancy and traditional tag bases.
