Master Boards

Sandi, one of my fellow DT members has a fun challenge up in the
You are to create a Master board to use in other creations.  You really need to check out what the girls are doing in this group!  Fabulous!
I decided that I have all these stamps I carved about this time last year, figured I would use them.
Here is the first one...I will say they are addicting!  Mine is just stamping!  You can add all kinds of embellishments!
I have to laugh at myself...because when I was putting on my watermark...I said Mother board...LOL.  Must be my DH techy side influencing me...LOL.  I used Ranger's Distress inks in: Walnut, vintage photo, worn lipstick, scattered straw, peeled paint, tumbled glass, old paper, black soot, spiced marmalade, fired brick, tea dye and weathered wood.

Here is the second one...
Here is an Easel card that I created using the first masterboard (a copy of it) for the inside and back.  The front is just stamping that I did on plain cream cardstock.
I used the Bella Muse in this card too!

Bella Tres Chic Challenge: Dreamers

Finally got some time to play around with a page for the
Here is my layout.
I did a "two for one" by using the Bella Muse image in my layout.
Here is the Bella Muse below

I had to flip it, because I knew my paper in the lower corner would cover some of the image, and flipping it worked out better.
I used my Silhouette Studio program to flip the image and add the
"Best Friends" text.  I also creating all the lettering with it as well.  I  created an offset of the letters to frame them, so I wouldn't have to cut each one out.  The ATC says "Nothing is greater than sharing your dreams with you Best Friend."  I used my Ranger Die to create it from scraps.  Vintage photo is what I used on all edges of my pp and journaling.
Adding a Butterfly and a metal trinket brad were also part of the challenge.  The butterflies came from Karen the Graphics Fairy.
Rose are from Prima.  I also used my perfect medium pen with gold perfect pearls to do some freehand doodling around the edges of the light green paper.
The colors for this challenge were Red, black, cream and green.  Perfect for the Mariposa paper pack.  I did use my favorite Martha  Steward around the page punch, and some perfect pearls in bisque.  Tiny piece of trim finishes off the corner.
I titled this page Dreamers....because that is what my BFF and I do all the time..LOL...Dream about this....Dream about that....
In case you didn't know...my bff is Ginny...and you can get to her store by clicking on the Polly's Paper badge upper left (which I created for her of course).
One last shot of the whole layout.

Flower Garden: Scraptales Mega Meet Layout

Here is another layout that I created using some Fabulous papers from Scraptales.  They are very "Heathery"..the colors are just PERFECT!
I decided I would take some photos of some of the flowers I purchase yesterday.  My mother and I went out on our annual "spring flower shopping trip, to get flowers for our gardens."  I can remember as a little girl going with my mother to all the local greenhouses.  I would scoop up all the flower pieces that had fallen off the flowers.  My favorite flower was the Fushia.  I would pick these up, and pretend they were fancy earrings.
Lucky for me, I found an awesome sketch over at
Stuck on Us Sketches.  Here it is below...
Isn't this just a beautiful sketch.  This is my first time playing there...I have wanted to for a while...and when I saw this sketch...I knew it would go well with my papers from Scraptales.
Here is my take on the challenge.
I used my new butterfly dies by Ranger in my Big Shot Expression. I also used some Dusty Attic dragonflies and a butterfly.
Above you can see one of the dragonflies.  I painted it cream, then covered the center with perfect pearls in Gold, and the wings were painted red, spritzed with Red Perfect Pearls, and then covered with UTEE.
I used the new Ranger ATC die cut with photo corners...for my journaling spot.
I used vintage photo on all my pp's and did distress them all with my distrezz tool.  I used gold embossing powder.
I also used vintage photo on all my photos, to tone down the color.
A few more close ups.
I also cut out some butterflies with my Silhouette SD.  I used a photo of my flowers, and used a butterfly file from the Sillhouette Online store.
This is the bottom right side of the page.  One last look at the finished page.
Thank you for visiting!
Hugs!
