Thanksgiving Thankful Cards

I just wanted to let you know that

I found out yesterday that my Thanksgiving 

"Thankful Cards" will be featured on the 

Passionately Artistic Blog this Friday.

So if you would like to use the Thankful cards for your 

Thanksgiving Dinner, just drop by their blog this Friday and you will be able to download the collage sheet.

I created these Thankful cards with Gecko Galz and
 Graphic Fairy images.  The idea behind the cards was to create a new family tradition.  Each member that will be attending my Thanksgiving dinner will receive one of the cards to write what they are Thankful for on.  Then we will read them on Thanksgiving day.  My kids and nephews all love to share what they are Thankful for, so I thought it would be great to have it written down..so we can keep them to look back on.

Here is one of the cards I created up close.  The backs have printed lines on them just in case more space is needed :-).

I have created a collage sheet that has the cards which are 3 by 5, so they will easily fit into a recipe holder that you can alter and keep them safe.  I created this little flip accordion album below to hold them in.

The background  and flower are made from Gecko Galz digi papers and the Orange flower with sentiment is from two different Graphic Fairy images that I put together in GIMP.  GIMP is a free online program..and I have GIMP tutorials here.

November Challenges at Bella Creations

Hello Friends and Welcome to my blog!

I just created a new Holiday blog background.

November is on it's way and if you have not had a chance to come 

and visit Bella Creations...now is a great time!

In the forum you will find our 3 main site challenges.

Tres Chic Challenge:  This month it is free style...which means you get to chose your own style.  I chose to create this Gorgeous Christmas ornament.  I used the Gecko Galz Heritage collection and 

the Christmas morning papers.  

I used my Silhouette to create the ornament.  I used some glitters to add a little sparkle.  The edges have been inked with Ranger's vintage photo.

I used Lindy's stamp gang goodies to add a little glitz to the back.

I used the Lindy's stamp..and some gold embossing powder.

Another fun challenge is the Bella Unique:  there are a couple different flower tutorials that you can use to create a flower. Here is the flower I created below.  I added a pin to the back..so I can wear it on a sweater this fall.

Finally we have the Bella Muse Challenge:  All you have to do is use the graphic fairy image provided in your project.

Here is my sample.  I used some glittery mists from Lindy's stamp gang.  

I used the Graphic fairy image and some Gecko Gals images to create a digi collage.  

I created more Thankful cards.  I will be handing them out to my family to fill out before the Thanksgiving meal.  We will have  a new tradition of reading the cards throughout the day on Thanksgiving.
