Simon says Stamp & Show some Tickets and Tags

Hello Friends and Welcome to my Blog!
I have been quite busy since my last post, I even finished something before last week and forgot to post it.  I will get to it tomorrow.
This week at Simon Says Stamp and Show Vintage we are to use some tickets and at Simon Says stamp we are to use a tag.  This was great timing because I was thinking of creating some tickets.  Digi images to have my Silhouette SD cut out of course.
I used Images from Gecko Galz and the Graphic Fairy to create the creations below.
I created the large ticket image in GIMP.  I used a lot of images from the Gecko Galz Gizmos & Gadgets and Frames collections.
I also used the Musical interlude and Winter Wonderland collections that are new this month.
I added images to other images for mini collage pieces to add to my tag.  I love the hinges..they are my fav!!  I used some UTEE on my clock face.  The tiny pink ticket with Angels and tree I created (all the tickets I created) in GIMP.
I just love the ticket I created using the cute little angels with the Christmas tree.  Since I used some angels, I will be sharing this creation with the flutterbywednesday challenge blog.  I will be sharing this with the Make it Monday blog as well.  On the ticket below I used a Vintage Santa Graphic from Sandi (Maximum Embellishment). She has a lot of great vintage images that she shares on her blog..so check her out!  The Christmas Exhibition is from the Graphic Fairy.
The tickets just slide under the gate hinges!!  Too fun!  I used my favorite Stamp that I drew and carved to add a little somethin somethin to the edges of this Ticket Tag.
I also Created this Super Vintage Chic Gift Card Holder!!
I will let my DH borrow it, to put my gift cards in :0).
This time I added some shape to my card by using my Silhouette Studio program and the weld feature.  It says..."artistic play,"
and at the bottom "unlock yours."  Who can't do some artistic playing when they get a gift card??
Every image on this page except the tiny leaves that I added to the pansies, are from Gecko Galz! I LOVE them!!
You can see the clock peeking through from the back page of my gift card holder card!  I used my hand carved stamps again in Jet black Stazon ink, and everything is inked with Ranger's vintage photo.
I used my Crop a Dile to punch tiny holes in the gate hinges and some rings from Ranger to hold my card together.
I just love the different door plates!  Here is the inside :0)
I also used some vintage buttons and Roses from The Flying Unicorn.  I just love the little rose buds!  I have some more to add, I just have to figure out what safe place I put them in :0).
Here is the inside below.
I created a present out of some of the darker music paper from Gecko gals words and music paper set.  I used a larger Vintage door plate image to hold my gift card!  There are two more little tags I created.
Since Simon Says Stamp and Show some tickets...I thought it would be cute to have the "time 4 tickets" around the edge of my card!  Who knows..maybe my DH could stick some tickets in there for an "Artistic Adventures Trip"...wouldn't that be Fabulous!!
Here is a close up :0)
Little blurry...that is what happens when you don't wear your glasses!
My little vintage package.
Again I used one of the stamps I drew and carved.
Look at this??  Who would of thought??
**giggle**
Hope you enjoyed my creation!
I will be entering this into Helene's Money/Gift Card holder challenge at the Flying Unicorn as well.
Hugs!!

Vintage Shabby Chic Victorian Christmas Boot Money Holder Card / Ornie

Hello Friends and Welcome to my blog.
I have a new Money Holder Christmas Card/ornament that I would like to share with you today.
In the past I was never a real "card" person.  Then I started creating cards and coming up with ways to keep them for other uses.  Why not have a card that you can keep and use as decoration...etc.
Here is the Card below.
I love Vintage Shabby chic Style...so I was inspired this week by the beautiful color palette over at the Shabby Tea Room Challenge Blog (it has been a while since I have been able to just sit down and create).  This week is pastels..and my Victorian Christmas boot is all about glittery pastel goodness!  Vintage is my Style..and I just love girly girl things...and considering I am the only girl in the house..it was nice to see the Simon Says Stamp and Show "Women Only" challenge.  Which is perfect because this week I have been creating ornaments and cards to put on my GIRLY Christmas tree.
Here is an up close below..maybe you will see something hiding in there...LOL.
You may be wondering where did Heather get that cute paper?  Well...the vintage boot, holly, flowers and Angel all are images from Gecko Galz.  The kitty is from a free vintage clipart site..and the tree came off a Christmas image from the Graphic Fairy.  I took pieces of images that I liked..and created this Christmas Victorian boot collage.  Since I am using an Angel I can share this with the girls at FlutterbyWednesdays.  I like the idea of sharing my work with the Make it Monday Challenge (you have a better chance of winning by leaving some love on other blogger's projects..and I think that is fabulous...we all love to receive comments..so leaving some love for others..gets you a chance to win??
Fabulous idea I say).  Here is another close up below.
Some of you may recognize this boot from when I did Cassandra's Tag swap.  I just created a new collage for the top, and made a bigger holder...to hold up some rolled up money.  This is my fancy Girly Money holder card!  I will be entering this in Helene's Challenge over at the Flying Unicorn....which is where I got that fabby pink rose..and white rosebuds.  Since this is a Christmas card and the ABC Design Team Challenge for the month is Christmas cards...I will be sharing there too!  I just love to visit and see what others are creating.  You can get some great ideas!!
I am the DT moderated over at Bella Creations of the digi group.  This card also meets my own critera for my own challenge.  Sorry to say that I will be closing this group at the end of November, but don't worry for I will be moving over to the Oh la la group.  I will keep all my GIMP tutorials here on my blog (so you know where they are...lol).
Enjoy your day..and hope you get some creating in!!
Hugs!!

Vintage Shabby Chic Christmas Ornament

Hello Friends and Welcome to my blog!
I would like to share with you a vintage style Christmas Ornament that I created.
I started out with some sweet vintage Candle reflectors (?) that I purchased from my local antique shop.
I added some Christmas paper and the word "Christmas" that I picked up and edited from the Graphic Fairy.  I ended up using two angels, both which came from Gecko galz.  The scalloped round piece is actually just aluminum foil that I cut out for the back.
Here it is put together.
I will have to say it is looks good here...but in real life it is glittery gorgeousness!!  I used some Christmas picks left over from last year.  Martha Stewart and Art Glitter to add some glitteryness.  My shabby pink and white rose came from the Flying Unicorn Online store.  I used a Maya Roads Chipboard pieces which I got from my
BFF's Local Scrapbook Store.   The vintage button is just one of many from trips to the antique store.  Here is another photo of it on my new tree..also from the antique store.
The angels were covered with UTEE.  So they are nice and glossy looking.  I rubbed some vintage photo over them..to age them a bit.
I am sharing this shabby vintage chic ornament with the Shabby tea room, Simon says Stamp and Maggi's Making metal Challenge at the flying Unicorn.  I am also sharing this at flutterbyWednesdays since I have two cute angels!!  I found a new place for just sharing your art from one of my blogging buddies Diane.  It is called Make it Monday.  So make sure you stop by those blogs and see the beautiful inspiration there.
One last close up!

Don't forget....Friday is the day that I will be featured at Passionately Artistic, and you can get the Free Thankful Cards (Collage set) that I created.  Hugs!!
Hugs!!
