Hello Friends!!
Happy Saturday!!
It is week 47 at Sugar Creek Hollow, and this week we would like to see you create with "LOVE or ROMANCE" in your vintage or shabby chic style creations.
Here is a picture of my project below.

I used a fabulous image from the new Vintage Labels  from Gecko Galz, and fabulous ribbons and trims from
Really Reasonable Ribbon.  I fussy cut the Gecko Galz Label (I altered the the words), and I created the background paper in GIMP.   Inked all my edges, and some of the ribbons with Ranger's Vintage Photo Distress ink.

I used the Old Gold Diamond ribbonpink leaves trimPink chevron ribbon and blue and white diagonal ribbon, from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  The yellow rosettes and dropbead pearls, are from my stash as well as the ivory mulberry roses which I spritz with Ranger's Perfect Pearls mist in Butterscotch.
I can't wait to see all your Romance and Love on your
Vintage or Shabby Chic style creations that you link up to
 Sugar Creek Hollow this week!
Thank you for visiting!!
Hugs!!

Really Reasonable Ribbon Monochrome Challenge

Hello Friends!!
Happy Friday!!
We have a Monochromatic Challenge going on over at the
All you have to do is create something in a monochrome color and add some ribbon!!  Here is what I came up with.
I started out with an adorable little image that I got from my buddy Sandi (Maximum Embellishment).  Now if you have been following my posts this week, you will know that Sandi has a pretty awesome challenge called "Christmas in the Bank."  If you click on the link (her name and blog), you can read all about it.  These are some more tags that I created for her challenge, in order to get me ready for Christmas later on this year!!  Woooo Hooo!!  Back to the image...LOL...you can find the original image on Sandi's blog here.
I used GIMP to extend the background up,  I then found an image of a Christmas tree, and tucked it in behind the little kiddos.  I also added some Christmas presents to the front of the photo.  So now it looks like they are posing for the "Traditional Christmas Photo"...LOL.
Of course I created a Collage sheet for it.  You will be able to create 4 tags, 2 large, 1 med and 1 small.
I used the same pieces in both tags, just put them in different places, and embellished them differently.  Nice Sepia / brown monochrome going on.  You will see that I used the Brown Sugar Baker's Twine, brown diagonal Stripe, juliet lace, and log brown seam binding all from Really Reasonable Ribbon as well as the candi fix it foam pads to elevate my pieces off the base of the tag.
Above is a close up of the bottom of the tag, and below is a photo of the bottom of the other tag.
Here is a close up of the top of the first tag....
Here is a close up of the top of the other tag.
Here is one last look at the tags together.
I hope these tags have inspired you to come and join our Monochromatic plus ribbon challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon as well as checking out my friend Sandi's challenge Christmas in the Bank!
Can't wait to see what you create!!

I will also be playing along with
Craft Room Challenge:  Monochromatic

"Christmas in the Bank" Tag Set 2

Hello Friends!!
Happy Thursday!!
Today I have another set of Christmas Tags that I have created for my buddy Sandi's "Christmas in the Bank Challenge"
I found a couple images from Karen the Graphic's Fairy, and of course used GIMP to create this beautiful Christmas Blessings Christmas Tag Collage sheet.  The base of the tag is a music paper, and the image is of two beautiful blue birds!
Remember the whole idea of Sandi's Challenge is to create 12 simple tags for Christmas, for the month of January.

On the tag above, I inked my edges with Ranger's Vintage Photo, and then distressed the edges of the image, and inked it as well.  I used the red swirls ribbon, peppermint baker's twine and Juliet lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon to embellish my tags.  I also used some of my favorite champagne pearls.  Below I used the same ribbon and Trims, but I just did them a little bit differently.
Here are a couple close ups below.
Yummy!!  I should of eaten before I did this post...looks like some yummy candy :0)
I did use the candi fix it foam pads from RRR to elevate my image and text box off the base of the tag.
I am so proud of myself, this past Tuesday has been the first day of getting back to "normal life" since the 1st week of January.  I have been a creating maniac :0).  Of course you can find the
