Dream Fairy Tiny Canvas

Hello Peeps!!
Happy Wednesday!!

Yay...May is here, and maybe ....just maybe Spring will finally come to Michigan...lol.  I did read that it was to be 82 degrees out today.  Yesterday...it rained all day...guess that is why they say April Showers bring May flowers?
It is the first of May which means there is a new challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and that the new sheets of Ephemera and digital stamps will be out at Gecko Galz.  I love the beginning of each month!!
The Challenge at Really Reasonable Ribbon is Sparkle, Bling and Ribbon!  What fun!!  I hope you will play along!!
I thought I would use one of the darling little Pixies from one of the new Gecko Galz ephemera collections called Pixie Children to create this little canvas below.
I am so happy with how it turned out!!
Even though it is hard to capture the sparkle with the camera, I think you can tell there is a lot of sparkling going on!  I used the moss green leaves (do I ever not use these??), latte button, teal baker's twine, green sparkling ribbon, pink crystal beads, natural crochet lace and kraft with polka dots bitty bag from
Here you get a good look at the green sparkling ribbon, pink rose and some of the glitters I used.  So pretty and sparkly!!  Here is a close up of the darling little fairy from Gecko Galz.!
I used a lot of fabulous glitters and the Designer glue with ultrafine metal tip from Art Glitter to help add some sparkle.
#162 Just Peachy( dream box and polka dots), #267 Cheeky Pink dress), #321 Antique White (wings),#517 Aged Gold (crown) #243 Gingerbread (edges and outline on front) and #193 Martha's Yard (heart).
Above you can see how I used the natural with polka dots bitty bag to cover the base of my canvas.  Then outlined the polkadots with glitter, and added one of the pink beads to the center.  I also used the pink crystal beads at the top.
I hope you enjoyed my tiny canvas, and have some time to go create something that is Sparkly with Ribbon and join us at Really Reasonable Ribbon!  If you get a chance, stop by Gecko Galz and check out the new Ephemera!!
I will be playing along with the following challenges
Thank you for visiting!!

Sugar Creek Hollow Week 59 Numbers and Letters

Hello Friends!!
Happy Saturday!!
This is my second post of the day...so please click here to see my lovely Vintage Rose Pin Tutorial that I created.

It is week 59 at Sugar Creek Hollow, and our theme this week is Numbers and Letters. We would like to see you use both letters and numbers in your Vintage or Shabby Chic creations.
I used both letters and numbers on my
Charm Card holder below.
I used all kinds of words (on the images and a stamp), and then I used a date stamp for the numbers.
I made the charms for a swap that I am participating in over in the Black Cat Forum!  I am so excited because I will be swapping charms with some of my favorite Black Cat Cougar Peeps!!
Lisa (she set up the swap), Penny, Elizabeth, Retta, and some other new peeps.  I can't wait to see what everyone creates!!

For my charms I used some images from Gecko Galz.  Inked the edges with Ranger's Vintage Photo.   Each charm image measures One inch long.
I used Art Glitter Just Peachy around the edges of the charm above.  I also covered it with Utee.
This one I covered with Utee as well.
I used the brown sugar baker's twine from
Really Reasonable Ribbon
wrapped between two holes I punched with my crop o dile to hold up my charms.

I altered all the images in GIMP, and I used a piece of Core'dinations kraft cardstock, and an edge embossing folder.  I sanded and inked with Ranger Vintage Photo.
Remember that the challenges will be every other week

I can't wait to see your Words and Number creations!!
Thank you for visiting!!
Hugs
