Merry Christmas

Hello friends!!
I hope all of you who are celebrating are having a fabulous Christmas!
We spent Christmas Eve day with my parents, uncle, brother and nephews then the evening with my hubby's parents and Uncle.  It was a wonderful day!
My mom has 6 grandsons, and the youngest is now 13.  So we have us a house full of young men.
Every Christmas (every holiday and any get together) we always call my Grandparents.  I had to laugh because my Grandmother asked each of them  "Do you have a girlfriend yet?"  If only you could of seen their faces....LOL.  Only the oldest has a girlfriend.

It is my turn to post over at Art Glitter and I have a simple card there that I did for Christmas.
Merry Christmas!!
Thank you for visiting!!

Easy Last Minute Christmas Tags & Gift Cards Holders & Christmas Sale

Hello Friends!!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!
I will have to admit that I am last minute at everything...LOL.  Not only is my creating for my blog posts usually done last minute (to meet deadlines that is) so is my Christmas shopping.  This year my kiddo's are 13 and soon to be 16.  Neither of them could tell me what they really wanted or needed for Christmas.  So Friday Evening when I got off work, I headed out to Art Van and decided to purchase each of my boys a desk for their computers.  Everything revolves around Tennis and Computers in our house...lol.  So today I will be getting all my last minute tags and cards finished (how does this happen to me...lol) while I wait for the new desks to arrive.  You know how that goes, I have a 4 hour window to wait.  So I am going to do some last minute tags using some of my Collage sheets.  Here is a picture of the desk below.  I love the look of it, very traditional, which is how the decor runs here in the Hudson house...lol.

BTW..to make things a bit easier for you...I am having my first Etsy Sale

Christmas Mitten Pocket Tag & Announcement

Hello Friends!!
I hope you are having a fabulous day!!
Today I would like to share with you a Christmas Tag that I designed and let you know I am so excited to be joining the
Creative Cutting Challenge Design Team!!  I will be starting in January.  The challenges there are every other week, and ask that you use an SVG in your projects.  You can find many SVG's in Cindy's store, The Creative Pointe.
I have used her  Poinsettia Svg on my tag below.
I  also used my Vintage Pink Mitten Collage sheet.....
....You may recognize Lily and Mr. Pugsley from my
Really Reasonable Ribbon  blog hop projects.
I used the mitten, Pugsley, lantern, Lily, candycane and green birdie scallop from my collage sheet.  I used my MTC program and Black Cat Cougar to cut out my pieces.   This time I folded my mitten in half, and placed it on my tag, so that the tag base is sandwiched between the mitten.

I also used some fabulous ribbons and trims from
 Really Reasonable Ribbon!
I tied off the top of my tag with the Antique Gold Organza, cream seam binding and Gold Swirls ribbon!
Here is a close up of the top.
I also used my Bingo ATC and Tag Basics Digital Collage.  Below you can see a close up of my poinsettia, I added a couple seed beads to the center, and lined each of my petals with either Just peachy or Coral Glitter.  I used Ensalada glitter on the leaves.
Here is a look at the mitten.   I used Juliet Lace and Pink chevron twill at the top of my mitten.
I used a piece of teal baker's twine for Pugsley's Lantern.  I did ink the bow with Ranger's Frayed burlap.
I used a Bingo ATC card, looks like it is in the mitten, but it is actually attached to the base of the tag.  I used pop dots to elevate the mitten so I could tuck my goodies inside of it.
Here is a look at the back.
I used the 1/2 inch pink wrinkled ribbon and my Bow it all tool to create the fabulous triple loop bow.  I used some of my favorite Moss green leaves and a Deep ivory Mulberry Rose as well.  Teal baker's twine was used to tie my little note card closed.  On this side I only used the pop dots at the top of my mitten, and glued down the edges and bottom of the mitten (so things still fit in it, but it remains mostly flat.  I added some glitter to my poinsettia so it would look pretty from the back as well.  The focal piece on my Mitten is a collaged piece that I did using Gecko Galz images.
Above is what my tag looks like with the goodies out of the mitten pocket. You could write a sweet little message on the tiny note card.
I hope that everyone enjoys their Holiday and is getting all of their crafting done!!  I hope you remembered to add some Fabulous Ribbons, Trims and Goodies from Really Reasonable Ribbon to your Christmas List!
I will be waiting in line to talk to Santa myself today :0)
Thank you for visiting!!
Hugs
