Beautiful Bella Picture Frame Card

Hello Friends and Visitors.
Welcome to my blog :-)
I will have to admit I have been so busy with house stuff and work the past couple of weeks I have not done much creating.
Sorry :-)
Yesterday I made a Gorgeous Match box to hold stickpins in a swap.  I still have 5 more to make.
Today...I designed a Picture Frame Card for my friend
Lacee...she is the Queen of Bella Creations.
She made me a fabulous Junk Journal..and is making me a recipe mini album!!  How sweet is that?  I will post photos when I get them.  Those of you who know me...know I only have boys..so I don't get to play with girl pictures much.  Today..I have a photo of Bella that I get to play with.  Yay!!
I used my silhouette sd to create some die cuts using some of my favorite Graphic Fairy Images...and a Gecko Galz butterfly image.   I am linking this up to Flutter by Wednesdays.  Their challenge called for die cuts or punch work..and of course a butterfly, fairy or angel.  So please visit by following the link..they have some great inspiration there!!
Here is a photo of the before.
(you can see that most of my card is die cuts)
I am also linking this up to Passionately Artistic.  They are so sweet there...and some good recipes!!
The Frame and Tag are made with K & Company ancestry patterned paper.  I created this shaped frame card using my silhouette studio program.  All the items above and below were cut out by my Silhouette SD.
OMG...isn't she just adorable :-)  I am going to be her new Aunt..LOL..because I need a girl :-)
I used Ranger distress ink in vintage photo to ink all the edges of the card, tag, and die cuts.  Art Glitter Designer Glue..and UHU..were my glues of choice.
I just love how it turned out!!  It says...sweet as honey!  She is!! Just look at her :-)  As you can see I adhered all the flowers, bees, butterfly and text here.  I used a Dress it up button with some yarn behind it to create a dimensional flower as well as some May arts leaf trim.
Of course it comes with a tag...because that is how I roll...LOL!
I made sure to center my photo when creating the card template..so my picture would be in the correct spot.
There are those Gecko galz butterflies!!
Of course...there is a journal spot on the other side..so Lacee can add some sweet little story.
I used another button..and some more yarn..and leaves.  I also used a perfect medium pen to draw around the edges of the scallops on the frame part..and some dotted butterfly trail on the tag....used gold embossing powder..to give it a little something extra.  Perfect pearls line the opening around her photo.
I hope this inspires you to create something beautiful today!!
Have an awesome day!!

Gecko Galz Match Box & Pin Swap

Hello Friends and Visitors.
Welcome to my blog :-)
I spent most of my day designing a match box in my
Silhouette studio program.  I had to do some math...LOL.
I am very happy with my match box template!!
I used the Crazy Mannequins and Journal it Collection From
Gecko Galz to create a digital collage.
Here it is below
So I created a die cut out of this with my Silhouette SD and put it on my Match box.  I am entering it in a Few Challenges
over at The Flying Unicorn.  I am linking it up at
the Passionately Artistic linking party!  All kinds of gorgeous art there :-)  So please check it out.
Here is my match box below.
I used my Silhouette to print out "Alda" she own's the Flying Unicorn site.  This is actually the box that will be holding some stick pins I made for her.  She is one of my "Stick pin Swap" buddies also going on at the flying Unicorn.
I stamped the sides...and back with stamps I made and the fairy stamp on the outside back cover is from the
Here is the back cover
I just love the fairy silhouettes!!  I have used some fancy yarn to add a little texture to my box.  I used Art Glitter Designer glue to hold it in place.
Here is a close up of the front flower.
You can see the fancy yarn ...so artsy..I LOVE it!!
Now for the inside.  I was to create 3 stick pins per swap group that I signed up for at the Flying Unicorn.  Alda, was in two of my groups..so she will be getting the 6 stick pins I made below.
I had so much fun creating these stick pins!!  I sure hope all the girls..and guys....Like them.  I used the
Zen Garden papers From Gecko Galz and one of their digi stamps
to create the image below...which I used inside my machbox.
Here is the back of my match box.  I used Stazon jeb black ink..and my own hand carved/designed stamps and wrote a little note.  I also inked all the edges with vintage photo by Ranger.
This little box was so fun to make...I just have 5 more to go...LOL.
Have a great day!!

I have more pictures at the link above...you don't want to miss it
This month we have some awesome Challenges...
and one of them is the Unique Challenge.
I used this technique to create the tag and flower below.  I am also linking this tag up to Simon Says Stamp: Tags!!  You really need to check out this challenge site...great prize..and awesome inspiration!!
Here is my tag!
All these goodies came from my
Here are some close ups below
Look at all the fun beachy embellies you get in your kit!!  I created my flower  and tag with the Technique tutorial listed above..it was soo fun!  I used one of my acrylic stamps
from the Gecko Galz Garden Icons Set.  You can see the star fish stamped in black under the netting to the left.  I am kind of a heavy embellishement girl..so a lot of my stamp work gets hidden...lol.
Some more close ups
For the technique tutorial above I used the colors, Vintage photo, Barn Door, Tumbled Glass and scattered straw.  Instead of water to mist..I used the glimmermist in antique brass.  So it has some shine to it.  It is also hard to see..but I stamped with embossing ink..and used Blue Patina perfect pearls on the flower and tag background.
I added the fabby beads from the kit for my flower center.
I spritzed those tiny sea horses with butterscotch mist by Ranger..and then covered them with perfect medium..and UTEE.
So...stop by and visit the Technique Junkie site to see what fun they have in store for you!!
We also have the Unique Challenge at Bellas this month.  The
Digi Doodle Shop is our wonderful sponsor this month!!
I got to chose an image to work with for free this month..and so I chose Weighing In
Weighing In - Click Image to Close
I thought this digi was sooo cute!  Just perfect for my BFF and I.
I can not tell you how many times the SCALE has come up as a topic for us...LOL
So..I chose to use GIMP (this link take you to my tutorials),
to color in my image.
Here is what I came up with.  I did some layers..and used one of my favorite Gecko Galz Frames.
I used this sweet little image and altered a plastic Nesquick Container to give to my BFF Ginny.
She is going to love this..because I am going to fill it with her favorite Gummi Bears.
I used my favorite May arts trim..and some lace from my stash..as well as my favorite Antique Buttons.
The front says...Best friends know...the scale
and the back says...
Measures... How fun we are.  How big our hearts are and
(most important)
The recommended daily allowance of sweets a gal should have each day!  She is gonna LOVE IT!!
Here is a picture of the top
I added each of our names...which I created on my silhouette sd...and then used UTEE to make them look like Glossy stickers.  I also used a fabby Stick pin..which I added some coordinating beads to fancy it up!!
So...go check out the digi images at The Digi Doodle shop...they have challenges!!
Hope you enjoyed my projects today!!

Bella Beach House Kit Reveal Day

Welcome Friends and Visitors to my Blog.
I am so excited today...it is REVEAL DAY at
This month we have the fabulous
Bella Beach House kit!!
Let me show you a little peek of the kit.
See those sweet die cuts??  Those are ones I created special for this months kit.  Here is a close up of just the die cuts.
These were all images that I found from Karen the Graphics Fairy.
The mermaids...I had to add a little hair too...to cover up some areas...lol.  I also created these sweet little tickets too.
There are many fabulously fun Beachy items in this kit!!
Here is my DT project using this month's kit.
I thought it would be fun to make a "Beach" Banner.
I used some chipboard banner pieces that I bought from my BFF's store Polly's Paper Studio.  I created the stars, circles, and letters with my Silhouette SD.  If you purchase the kit..I will email you a collage sheet of the stars, letters and circles...so if you would like to create this banner..you can too!!
Here are some close ups.
I used Art Institute Glue to apply all my items.  It is my FAV glue!!
I used similar techniques on each letter.  I started with the book sheets from the kit, covered my banner.  I used a Perfect Medium Pen by Ranger and Perfect Pearls in Perfect Copper, to add a little glitz to my letters.  You can get these at my BFF's Store.
After adhering my book page to my banner piece..I added some of the white crepe paper ..which I misted with Butterscotch Adirondaok Color Wash.  I used pop dots to adhere my star...and then some more to layer on my Circle.  Which the circle is a music sheet from the Graphic Fairy...BY THE SEA.
I added some perfect medium with a stamp pad to my letters, and little seahorses...but any transparent embossing ink would work.  I then applied some UTEE to give it a glossy sticker look.  I did the same with the tiny sections of fencing (it was a large piece from the kit that I cut up).  I used Perfect pearls mists in turquoise.  I also spritzed all the fabby shells with both mists...so they would match.  I am silly that way.
One of my FAVORITE little trinkets in this kit..is the tiny glass bottle you will find above.  I added some of the sand and glitter to the little bottle, and used some of Lacee's packaging ribbon too.  Look at that fun blue shell in the upper left..I just love it!!  I finished off each banner using the glittery ribbon to create some bows...and added the blue glitter to the edges..or any"white space" ..no white space for this girl.
Another favorite of mine...are the random puzzle pieces!!  Can't you just imagine sitting by the Beach...and listening to some music drinking some lemonade and working on a puzzle!  That would be sooo fun.  When I win the Lottery...I will be purchasing a
"Bella Beach House"...and we will all meet there and play!!
So...That is my project...I hope you enjoyed it!
This month at Bella Creations we have some fabulous sponsors!!  You will find them in my left side bar.
To see some more FABULOUS Inspiration Pieces...just visit my DT Sister's blogs...they are listed in the left side bar too!

Gecko Galz DT Crazy Manniquins Ephemera Mini

Hello Friends and Visitors!!  Welcome to my blog.
Today I have a sweet vintage looking shaped mini album I created using this months "Crazy Manniquins" ephemera,  "Journal it Alphabet Soup", "Zen Garden Papers" and Acrylic Stamp sets "Garden Icons" and "Garden Journals" from
I love the new releases this month..so check back...I will have some more goodies next week!!  I am also linking this up to
Simon Says Stamp: tags this week (you should really check out the DT tags there this week...GORGEOUS).  I love to link up to Flutterby Wednesday: Stripes and of course you have to use a butterfly, angel or fairy...and they always have great inspiration there.  Lucky..my Dress form has stripes :-).  Once in a while...I get to squeeze in a project for The Shabby Tea Room.  I really love it there!!  This week is Mix and Match 3 patterned paper.  Awesome cards there..so please check them out!!
Here is the album
I used the "Journal it Alphabet Soup" to spell out Vintage and Chic.
I used the "Zen Gardens papers" through out the beauty.
I used the Zen Garden paper called "Tranquility" and layered one of  Gecko Galz Digital stamps over it.  I love the way it turned out.  The dressform is stamped with the butterfly and round rose stamp which are part of the "Garden Icons" acrylic stamp set.  Perfect pearls in petal pink, Ranger Distress ink in Vintage photo and Adirondack Color Wash in Butterscotch were used through out this mini.  As well as perfect pearls in perfect copper.  Below you can see a close up of my Dusty Attic dragonfly.
I used Perfect pearls in Blue Patina, and perfect copper to cover the dragonfly and then used a coat of UTEE.
Here is the first inside page, you can see how I created the shaped cover..so it wouldn't cover the fabby dress form from Gecko Galz.
Tiny Roses, May Arts and Websters trims used throughout as well as some antique buttons and trims of my own.
Here is a close up of the dress form :-)
Above I used the "Tea house" and "Water Garden" papers.  I created a tiny pocket to hold a manniquin bookmark.  Pink Gems as the centers of my flowers.
You can see the Perfect pearls on the black.  The "Garden Icons"
stamps are fabby for this little gem!!  I used them on the black, and each of the dress forms.
This last page was made using the "Butterflies" paper from Gecko Galz.  This page is also just perfect for my Bella DT sister's challenge:  Spray ink challenge and Butterfly.  So check that out!!  Her challenges are super fun!  You also need to use Earth tones in this challenge.  Close up of my doodle button flowers.
Here is the back cover!!  You can really see the digi image (it is black) that I used over the "Tranquility" paper.  I really love the effect.  If you have not tried this, come and check out my group at
Bella Creations.  You can learn the basics there...or just visit my Gimp Tutorial page.  I have some free youtube videos where you can learn how to use GIMP a free online program.
One more picture of the front.....
Hope you enjoyed my Vintage Dress From mini album!!
Head over to Gecko Galz...the Ephemera sets are only $2 each...great deal!!  Right now if you buy 4 sets...you get the 5th one free.  It is VERY easy to find 4 sets that you will like.
