Graphic Fairy and Gecko Galz Mini Album Tags

Hello Friends.
Today I had a little time to create a few tags to go inside of the paper bag mini album I am doing for Pam.
I am using some Gecko Galz and Graphic Fairy Images.
You should recognize my Collaged Fairy from my
There will be four of these shaped tags that will slide into the paperbags.  So just the wings will show outside of the album's edge. I used Ranger's distress ink in Vintage photo to distress all the edges of my die cuts (which I created with my Silhouette SD).  I then placed the white vintage frame on Pop dots...so Pam will be able to slide a photo in from the top.  The pink flower is from a piece of trim that I got on clearance at Joanns.  I love it!!  Added some May arts leaf trim..and liquid pearls in bisque.
Here is a close up of the flower below.
I just love the book page image that I used from Gecko Galz for my background.   The back looks exactly the same as the front...except there is a tag for journaling that fits in the frame

I will post a photo of it as soon as it dries.
Hugs!!  Have a great day!

Gecko Galz & Graphic Fairy Halloween Tote

Hello Friends!!
Today I am going to share with you a collage that I created using
Halloween images from Gecko Galz and Graphics Fairy.
Plus a few of my own.
I did this for my own Challenge in my Digi Group at
I would like to share two totes that were created by two gals that have been faithfully watching my GIMP tutorials and participating in my monthly Challenge.
First is a bella I have known since the site was open..and that is
Carol.  Here is her tote for my challenge.
Isn't it Fabulous!!  You can click on her name above and it will take you to her blog post where she talks about it.   Both gals went over the top with their entries!  I am so proud of what they have learned in GIMP.
Another Fabby Bella,  Ellen created this fabulous Halloween bag below.  I just love it!
Both bags are just fabulous!!  This was the first challenge where we created our own digi image and were to put it on something fabric.
Here is my bag below
I used some butterscotch mist on this and stamped using stazon ink and my stamps.  The fabby flower is from Carol...she made it :-).
Here is a close up
I will get another picture of my tote this evening.  But you get the idea.  I used liquid pearls in bisque to go around the image, and some vintage lace at the bottom of the image.
I will be entering this into Shawn's Voila Ink, and Helene's Oh la la ,
Challenges at Bella Creations.  I will also be supporting
Lacee with her new group over at Pamelajoypurses.
Hugs!!  Enjoy your day!!

Tags with Gecko Galz and Graphic Fairy Images

Hello Friends!!
Today I had a little time to create some of the tags that will be going into Pam's Mini Album.
For these tags, I used my favorite flower's images from
Karen the Graphics Fairy and an awesome frame from this months
ephemera set from Gecko Galz.
Here are the 4 tags I created using my Silhouette SD.
All stamped images are ones I drew and carved myself.  I used Ranger's vintage photo for the stamping and inking of all edges.
These tags will go in the mini album I am creating for Pam for a swap we are in at Bella Creations.
Here is a close up below.  All four tags have a spot for journaling on one side..and photo opportunity on the other.
I am also adding these to Mandy's, Helene's and Jackie's challenges over at
Here is a peak (still not finished) of what the tags look like sticking out the side.
I am sooo loveing this...very Heathery :-)
Hugs!!  Enjoy your day!

My Mini Album for Pam

Hello Friends :-)

I am working on my to do list today (I am so behind). I finally got started on Pam's Mini album for a swap at Bella Creations.
I have decided to do a Grandmother's Brag Mini...Heather style :-)
So it will be vintage and flowery..and fabulous!!
I started out with some images from both Gecko Galz and
Here is the front cover so far :-)
The flowers are some of my favorite from Karen.and the Frame I  attached them to and the mannequins are from Gecko Galz.
Here is a close up
I have inked all my die cuts that I created with Ranger's vintage Photo.  The flowers stamped in the middle are ones I drew and carved myself..and used copper perfect pearls on.  The frame is on pop dots, so Pam will be able to slide in small photos of her 4 grandchildren.  A close up of the bottom.
Here you can see how I added the words "The Grandchildren" to the frame using my Silhouette Studio program.  I also used the program to cut out all my die cuts.  Notice the welded "Our Little Blessings."  The dressforms and pansy are from Gecko galz..and are part of Helene's ""Oh la la" tag challenge this month.
I did do a little more painting...the edges are done in Delta Dark Forest Green, and the leaves are Stonewedge Green, shaded with DFG.  Lucky me...well not really..because I planned it...but I can enter this into Both Mandy's and Jackie's Challenges at
The Flying Unicorn.I used some vintage looking fun fiber and flowers as well on the binding. Here is a close up :-)
Now to start on the inside :-)  Wait till you see what I have planned for the inside :-)
Hugs...and enjoy your day!!

Cassandra's Tag Swap Victorian Floral Boot

Hello Friends :-)
Today I have a gorgeous tag that I created to swap with a
I started out with images from both Gecko Galz and the
Graphics Fairy to create a Collage paper doll and die cuts
with my Silhouette SD.  I am also sharing this with the
FlutterbyWednesday Challenge (Great inspiration there...so please check it out).
Here is my tag below.
The Victorian boot with flowers and Part of the Butterfly Fairy that I created are Gecko Galz images.  The flowers in the Fairies' hair and on her waist, and bumble bee are from the Graphic's Fairy. Here is a close up below.
I used gold jewelry wire to create the hanger on this tag so Cassandra can hang it on her Christmas tree if she likes.  I just love Christmas..and having many trees with beautiful ornaments.  I applied Stream Alchol ink to the back of a Ranger fragment and stamped my flower stamp with Stazon jet black on the front to add a little hangy embellie.  I did this for my Sister DT member Micupoftea's Voila ink challenge this month at Bella Creations.
I inked all edges of my tag with Ranger's vintage photo.  I used some trims and stick pin from this month's kit
I added the little flat back pearls from the kit to the buttons on the boot to add a little depth.  I also painted some leaves in the lower left using Delta acrylics in Wedgewood green and shaded with Dark Forest Green.  My first love it tole painting so it only seemed natural to add a little painting to this tag for Cassandra.  Lucky me, over at The Flying Unicorn there are a few challenges I will be entering this beauty in.  One challenge being a Bella DT Member
Helene's Challenge:  Pocket.  You can just barely tell above that I created a pocket on the boot to hold some stick pins I created.
Of course..the tag itself is a pocket...because my little Butterfly Fairy
comes out as well...and can be used as a separate ornie.
Here you can see the fabulous stick pins I created.  One has the graphic fairy bumble bee on it (two bumble bee die cuts glued back to back with the stick pin between them).  The Fairy arms, head and legs all are from this month's new Gecko Galz Ephemera sets.  I created the bodice image myself :-)
Here is a peek at the back below
It is identical to the front, just flat..no pearls or pockets.  I did paint some leaves, and my name :-)
One more up close of the back.
I will add the date to the back and a little wire hanger on the Butterfly Fairy.  I hope Cassandra loves it...because I do!!

In case you didn't notice, I created a new
 HALLOWEEN BLOG Background
using both Gecko Galz and Grapic Fairy images.
My Halloween Siggy below is starring Frankie our new kitten.

Bella Creations "Sew Vintage" Embellishment kit

Hello Friends and Visitors and
welcome to my blog.
I am excited to announce that
Lacee from Bella Creations has a great
Isn't it yummy!!

I created a few die cuts special for this kit :-)
Here they are below.
One of the challenges at Bella Creations this month is to create a
tissue paper flower.  Below you will see my tissue flower and Bella Muse Challenge.  I just altered the image from the
Graphic Fairy that we were given as our muse.
Here is my Bella Muse entry :-)
I used the pink zipper and tissue paper, and box from the kit.  Used the stamps that I drew/carved myself with stazon ink in black to decorate the box, tissue paper and zipper.  I used two of the dress forms and more tissue paper as well as the stick pin from the kit to create this dress form below.  I added it to a project that I have been working on.
I used some pieces of lace from my stash.  I inked the edges with Vintage photo from Ranger and stamped with my fav background stamp and stazon jet black.
Lacee also has a fabby mini album kit called
and this one was inspired by me :-)
Here are some photos
Look at all the fabulous goodies!!
I just love the roses..and doily..and that purse!!  So Heathery :-)
So come on over and check out the challenges going on at
Bella Creations!!
BTW..our DT Sister Sandi has created a new group
at Bella's called "Images D' Transforme."  Here you will find
Authentic Vintage images from Sandi's stash...that will only be offered to Bella Creations members.  So check it out.
I am currently working on a badge for her knew group :-)
Hope you have a fabulous day!!

2nd Halloween ATC ** Swap at the Flying Unicorn**

Today I designed my second Halloween ATC for the
On this Halloween ATC I did use the
The other Halloween images are ones I painted myself.
The pumpkin was a vintage image..that I added some shading and high lighting..and a tooth too..LOL. The hat and ghost are images that I drew and painted last October in GIMP.
I used my silhouette studio program to create the die cuts for my ATC.  Here they are below.
I used Ranger distress inks in faded jeans to ink the edges of the witch hats and pumpkin ghost combos.  I used Fired brick to ink the ATC background.  It says...TREATS PLZZZ
It is one of those things that are hard to tell the difference.  If you look closely at the ghosts..they are shaded in a purple color..and then you can see the slightly darker faded jeans inking.
I put my Halloween die cuts together to get this little cutie below.
Added Ranger glossy accents to the pumpkin eyes.  A piece of orange ribbon with polka dots..and used a pop dot to adhere the hat.  Orange glitter is dripped around the edges, while a blackish color outlines the hat..purple the ghost..and green on the ribbon.
I am having a fun time with these ATCs.
Hope you have a great day!

Halloween ATC SWAP at the Flying Unicorn

What fun...I joined a Halloween ATC swap at the
I will be creating 3 different designs..and making 5 of each design.
So here is the first ATC.
I started out with the new Witching Hour Ephemera from
I used my Silhouette Studio program to design the Halloween ATC.
Here are the die cuts that I created...all cut out by my Silhouette.
All images are from Gecko Galz except for the eyeball which is from the Graphic Fairy.  I have tiny ravens, witches, black cats..and a tombstone.  I used the Gothica papers from Gecko Galz for the background piece, and for the pattern on the tombstone.
The front of the tombstone says..."Recipes" from the spooky alphabet, and Fermented Zombie Eyes.  On the white tombstone (which will be glued to the back of the colored tombstone) has my recipe for my favorite rum balls :-).
I used Ranger distress inks in Fired brick to ink the ATC background and eyeballs. Black soot for the black cats, ravens and front of tombstones.  Faded jeans and peeled paint for the recipe side of tombstones.  Faded jeans on the witches.
Here is how I put it together.
The witch has some pop dots under her and the back edge of her hat is glued down.  I used pop dots to adhere the black cat and eyeball to the front of the tombstone.  Utee was applied to the black cat, raven and eyeball.  I glued the raven down to the background.  Used my crop o dile to add a grommet and brad to hold the recipe tombstone in place.  Liquid pearls in cantaloupe were applied to the edges.  Last time I looked there were a couple spots open in this group...so please come and join the swap!!

Have a great day!

Gecko Galz Halloween Ornament

Hello Friends and Visitors.
Welcome to my blog.
It is the beginning of the month and that means new ephemera packs at
I will have to tell you that growing up, I didn't get a lot of candy at my
house...so Halloween was a HUGE deal to me.  It was all about the Candy!!  So Halloween has become one of my favorite Holidays...
and mainly just because eating candy and sweets is SUPER FUN!
I do have a Halloween Tree that I put up..but not quite yet.
It is just a black Christmas tree.
Yesterday my Silhouette Studio program...stopped working.  I lost a lot of pages that I had created using my September images.
I was pretty bummed about it.  Oh well!!
Here is the ornament for this week.
I used the September Gothica papers, Witching hour ephemera set.
You should be able to find them soon at
I started out with the images...and created the digi collage below.
I used the Gothica Papers as the pattern for the flower on the side of my Halloween Ornie!!
Now that I see it up close...I am going to add some orange glitter to the orange flower layers.
I created a spider web with my silhouette studio program to cut out the white web, and then created an offset, which was done in black.  Just glued down the web to the black..and added some white glitter to the web.  A touch of orange vintage tinsel to surround the image adds a great touch.  Faded jeans by Ranger was used to ink most edges of the pieces.  Added a little violet glitter...Twisted some gold beading wire for a hanger..added an orange bow and
 TAH DAH..finished.
Thank you for visiting!!
Have a great day!!
Hugs!
