How to eliminate the outline of an image with the Silhouette Studio program

While visiting my Silhouette group on Flickr
I noticed some girls were having the same
issues I had to work out.  So I thought I would try and help
Here are two photos below that walk you
through deleting the original image's outline.  Then you can use the
"find the outline tool" to get your actual cut line.
If you double click on the image, it will enlarge.
Here is the next image.
I sure hope this helps!  I love using my Silhouette SD.
If you would like to see more of these...just leave a comment.
Thanks!  Have a great day?
Hugs!

  1. Heather,
Thanks for taking the time to write this up. This is the very thing that Silhouette Support told me to do but when I go to sketch it out or cut it out it won't do anything. It is like when you tell it NO cut it tells the whole image not to cut.
I just can't figure it out.

  2. You have a silhouette? I have yet to see one. My hubby is always trying to get me to get this and that- and I keep saying nope, no more tools/toys! Oh and that punch- it is stampin up. Then I used my big shot to emboss w/ SU embossing folder. Cool isn't it? The scallop card is my nestability. Do you have any?

I RE-downloaded the Silhouette software and chose FIX for an option and now it works perfectly. :)
