Hello Friends!!
I have two cards to share with you today.  First up is One that I created using some fabby new goodies from
Badge.jpg
So Please pop on over to the
To see my Tutorial and see the Art Glitter Sale.
Here is a sneak peek.

Next up
Gecko Galz is Celebrating National Card Day for the Month of September.  All the Designers will create a Greeting Card and it will be featured on the Gecko Galz Website.
My card will be featured today Sept 2, and tomorrow Sept 3rd.
Here it is below.
I used the following sets of Ephemera, Digital Papers and Digi Stamps from Gecko Galz:
Carfax abby (striped paper) & Fangtasia (red paper)
from the Vampire's Ball digi pack
SBO6 (raven digi stamp, I used the red paper behind it) from the
Spellbound stamps set
The Owl image is from the
"Owling for you" Ephemera set
the Bat and Octopus images are from the
Hocus Pocus Bottle Labels ephemera set.
Postcard and Hallowen/Greeting...I just made up :0)
Here is how I got started.  I designed the layout in GIMP.  I created a collage sheet with my pieces, and printed it out.
Next I cut out all of my pieces (I put extra on the sheet, because I hate leaving white paper...who knows...maybe I will use the other images on another project).  I distressed them with my Kraft Knife, and then inked the edges with Ranger's Walnut Stain.
Next I used a glue stick to apply glue to my black cardstock.  It was cut just a tiny bit smaller than my 5 by 7 ivory card base.  The card base was inked with Ranger's Barn Door and then Walnut Stain.
I placed my post card on my striped digi paper, and my Owl stamp on my postcard using a glue stick.  I used pop dots behind my Raven image.  Placed it on top of my post card image.
Next I used my fav Juliet Lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon and tucked it under my Raven Piece.  It would of been easier to do it before I applied it to the base layer...but I didn't know I wanted it there till after the fact :0)  You will see that later...I decided to add some more...lol.  That is just how I roll :0)  I also used some fabby black seam binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon too.
Below you will see that I used glue to glue the edges of seam binding and burgandy twine (notice how I just snuck that in there, and I inked it with vintage photo).
I added some Art Glitter Sticky tape to the back of my piece.
I removed the red backing from the tape and applied my striped piece to the card base.  Here is where I sneaked in more of the Juliet Lace.  I also used a Button from RRR's Vintage Button Bonanza and tied a little bow out of the red twine.  I also added my Halloween & Greetings Text boxes.  To the left I added to of the Halloween labels.  Next I used my Art Glitter Designer dries clear Glue with the Ultra fine Metal Tip to make a line around the edges of my card.
I decided to add a few dots of glue too...and then added
 #188 Black Vinyl Art Glitter.
Here is another look at the finished piece.
How about a close up?
One more close up!
Thank you for visiting me today!!
Hugs!!
