Hello Friends!!
I Hope you are having a fabulous day!!
I had a little time to put together my new Shabby Vintage Chic Christmas Roses Pillow Box Ornament. Funny how quick you can put them together once you get one done :0)
I started out using my new Collage sheets
Which you can find the Basic Shabby Fancy Tag, Traditional Tag and Pillow Box in my Etsy here. The Shabby Chic Christmas Pink focals You can find in my Etsy here.
The Front.
Which I was inspired to do Flourishes of Glitter instead of polka dots once I visited the Simon Monday Challenge. Which is to add flourishes!!
I used #162 Just Peachy, Glitter on the outer petals of the roses and pink circle, #142 Coral Reef Glitter on the inner portions of the roses, #295 Ensalada Glitter was used on the leaves and #208 Fauna Glitter on my Ivory Music Scallop.

I created the flourishes using my Art Glitter Designer dries clear Glue & Ultra fine Metal Tip, then I added #160 Rose Gold glitter.
I continued to create flourishes along the sides of my Christmas Pillow Box Ornament too!!
Here is the other side.
Here is the top
I used my Art Glitter Glue and tip to add polka dots to the top of my piece. There wasn't any room for the flourishes :0)
There was room on the back though :0)
All my ribbons and trims are from Really Reasonable Ribbon!! I used the 1 1/2 inch pink crochet lace, 5/8 pink crochet lace, textured two tone rose ribbon, pink micro gingham, moss green leaves, light pink and ivory 20 mm mulberry roses.

Day after Day you continue to amaze me. Your designs are way above the norm. All the "extra's" here just make this so extra special. It isn't just a pillow box now, it is an extraordinary treasure to be enjoyed for a long time by someone. WOW..
ReplyDeleteWow! This is pretty much the fanciest pillow box I've ever seen! I adore the vintage vibe and I love how you make holiday items that are so fresh and modern...even though they're vintage (if that makes sense). I also really liked the way you interpreted our "flourish" theme! This box is a stunner, both front and back, and I'm so glad you shared it with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge blog!
