(so link up for a chance to win a GC to my Etsy)

I am also linking up to Linda the Funkie Junkie's 12 Tags of Chrsitmas!!  Linda has created some beautiful inspiration tags over at her blog, and I have found it helpful.  Many of you know I am a last minute creator...lol...so this morning I was looking at Linda's tag number one.  At 5am...(and I needed to make this tag and have it posted by 9am)..and right away I was hit by how it reminded me of my Christmas mitten collage sheets.

Why?  Well..the background of my mitten was designed to look like a sweater...and Linda's tag has a sweater background..and the red, green and natural color scheme are the same.  I just happen to look down on the floor (because I am a sloppy creator) and found a bag of my diecuts..with some of the pieces.  So I chose the candycanes for similar colors,  Tree because she has little tree charm, and the 25, because she has one on hers too.  Then I added the Merry Christmas.  I used some bakers twine and seambinding (like she did...I just did a lot more...because that is my thing).  Then I looked over at my table and saw my chipboard piece I had painted...and had to have it on there...and then came the Bingo piece which replaces her tiny tag...and I added the new image of the little girl and pooch...well...because they are new...and it just  seemed to fit together :0)
So get all the deets from the link above..and...create all 12 tags inspired by hers...and you got a chance to win a prize to her
(now you know how last minute I am..lol)

If you are taking a break...from crafting..feel free to listen to me babble about all the goodies and challenges in my video below :0)

I will be playing along in the following Challenges

  10. Wow, this tag is absolutely loaded with vintage goodness. Love the shabby chic feel of it, especially the sweet little girl and all the glitter! I had to laugh at your self-description as a messy crafter. I am the same way. I actually leave bits and pieces laying around my work table to inspire my next projects and hoping that even though they didn't make it onto one project, that they will be perfect for a later one. So happy you shared this beauty with us for the 12 Tags of Christmas Funkie Junkie Style!

    Hugs,
    Linda
