Hello Friends!!
Happy Saturday!!
It is week 56 at Sugar Creek Hollow, and our theme this week is Fabulous Flourishes. We would like to see you use some flourishes in your Vintage or Shabby Chic creations.
I had a friend ask me if I could could make them a
"4 inch heart." If I could make a "pretty" 4 inch heart...lol. To make a long story short, she wants the heart to send to one of her online friends whose daughter is in the hospital. The plan is to cover the girls room window with 4 inch hearts. So here is my heart, attached to a card below.
I used a brad to hold the heart onto the card base, so they will be able to easily remove it later. The fabulous Butterflies are from this month's Butterly Wings Ephemera set from Gecko Galz.
I used some pink flatback pearls and lace from my stash as well as the pink glitter satin and Rose seam binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon.
I used a spellbinder's heart die, and one of my flourish stamps with both Ranger's Vintage Photo (card base) and perfect medium (heart shape) and gold embossing powder.
I also used some Art Glitter Designer dries Clear glue with transparent ultra fine Just Peachy Glitter (#162) on my butterflies!! They look so magical now!!
I finished off the bottom of the heart with a little clear crystal and seam binding bow.
I hope you enjoyed my card, and that you have to play along and link up to
Sugar Creek Hollow!
Thank you for visiting!!
Hugs!!

This has to be one of my all time faves of yours. She will have the prettiest heart in her window. Love the butterflies and the way you stamped and embossed the flourishes. Gorgeous.
