Sassy Studio Card for Bella Creations

Happy Thursday!!

Hope everyone is enjoying October!

Yesterday I finished up my project that I created using the image that was given to the Bella DT this month by
Sassy Studio Designs.
they are sponsoring our
Bella Tres Chic challenge!!

First I painted the digi stamp in GIMP.  Then I created the blinkie that you see in my upper left side bar.  Then I decided to make a few cards.  Here is the one that I have finished :-)

I started off with some digital background paper from

Gecko Galz..purple stripes.

I used my Silhouette Studio program to design this sweet little naughty card with ornie.  I have it hanging on my Halloween Tree.

Purple wouldn't of been my first color choice..although I love purple for Halloween!  Denise has a challenge the

Purple People Eater Challenge

Which helped me decide on purple.  I have had this lavender trim in my stash FOREVER...so I knew it would be perfect!!

The front says..."Let's be just a tad bit"

The tag / ornie inside reveals the rest of the sentiment...

"Naughty this Halloween."

I just love how this turned out...and I am happy with the purple!!

Bella Creations October Kit and Challenges

Hi Friends...and Welcome to 

OCTOBER!!  Okay it has been a couple days already but really where did September go?

Well this month over at 

Bella Creations we have some fun challenges for you.

First the Tres Chic Challenge

You will be inspired by the Romantic Grunge style and will need to use flowers, bling and paint.  You could win a prize from

Sassy Studio Designs....you can see the blinkie in the upper left column that I created by digitally painting one of their fabulous Halloween images.

Here is my Tres Chic Example below.

I was inspired by the domino mini albums out on the internet..and thought I would make something similar.  I started out with some air dry clay..and made my cover..and Rose.

I am not really sure why I add a lot of detail to things..when I know I am just going to cover it up...LOL.

Here is a picture of the inside.

I used my favorite Gecko Galz vintage frame

to frame all my pictures.  I gave this little beauty to my mother.  It measured about 2 1/2" by 4".  Just the right size to sit out on the coffee table...or carry in her big purse :-).

Next is our Bella Muse Challenge.  You can use one of the two images provided you in our forum to create what ever you like.

I used both the images provided, and added some Graphic Fairy and 

Gecko Galz images to create a digital collage..that I then made into a die cut and put on some jar candles...to spice up my 

Halloween Decor.

Here they are below.  One is on a Yankee candle the small one is a glade candle.

These were so fun and easy to make.  I think this may be my challenge this month in my Digi Group at Bellas.

(no specific image of course).

There are two kits this month at Bellas.  There is a Halloween Embellie kit..and a Card kit.  Here is what I created with the card kit...and some of my stash.

This card is also my Bella Unique Challenge example.

You can see I used some bunched up crepe paper.  That is all you have to do...just check out the tutorial link at Bellas.  

I decorated the inside of my card as well...but it is not dry yet...LOL.  Will have that photo up later.

Here is the other card I created using the card kit.

I folded the white with black polka dot paper to give it some depth..and got this idea from Frank.  Well he inspired me to do it anyways :-)

Just in case you missed my new blinkie...LOL...here it is below.  I used GIMP to digitally paint her.  She is just way to cool!
