My First Mojo Monday with Graphic Fairy Images

Today I decided to try playing at another
fabulous Sketch site.
Here is the sketch provided
What a FUN sketch!
Here is my card below.
Check back a little later, for the steps of this in the making.
Thanks for Visiting!
Hugs!

Okay..here are the steps I used and the images that I got from
Karen the Graphic Fairy
I used GIMP to edit out the images of the blue birds so that
I could import them to my Silhouette SD to find the outline and cut out.
Here are some more images
Feel free to use the images....just remember they came from the
Graphic Fairy.
Last but not least..the image below.
I did design this card around the Mojo Monday sketch, so here is what my "Mat layout" in my Silhouette Studio program looks like.
You should be able to click on this to make it larger.
This was sent to my printer, and printed.  Then I used my Silhouette SD to cut the shapes out.  You can see in the photo how I created different shapes.
You will notice that the red cut lines do not print...the machine just cuts those lines out.
Here are all the images cut out by my Silhouette SD.
First I distressed all the edges of the pieces using my kraft knife.  Then I inked them all using Ranger;s vintage photo.
I cut the background images in half from corner to corner as seen below.  I used a pair of scalloped scissors to make the little black scallop piece.  The bottom right corner piece was attached first, then the scallop was attached to the back of the hand written looking piece...and then it was attached to the cardstock background.
I used the same scissors to create the scallop piece attached to the strip below before attaching to the base of the card.
The inking shows up pretty good in this photo.
I used my crop o dile to punch the holes in the ends of the one final strip.  Inserted some grommets  and tied a simple black and white ribbon to each end.  I attached the center piece. I used my perfect medium pen to draw on some scrolls, and added embossing powder in Gold.  I will attach the blue bird and apply glossy accents to it.
I am still thinking of my sentiment...lol.  I will post another photo once I have my wording exactly how I want it.

Sorry for the extra long post!  Have a great day.
Thanks for visiting!
Hugs!
