Butterfly Layout

Here is a lay out I created using some butterflies from
One of my girlfriends allowed me to use a photo of her beautiful daughter for my layout...YAY!

The paper's are by Prima and are from my March Swirlydoos kit.
I had painted the leaves and the large butterfly stamp is one that I designed and carved.
I used UTEE on all the butterflies, so they are nice and glossy.  I also used one of my Pink Paislee circle frames from a past Swirlydoos kit.  The Dusty Attic piece here was embossed with gold, and I applied some blue pearls from my kit.
Here is a close up for the Right side.
Here is a close up of the bottom right.  This Dusty attic piece I painted with Delta paints.  Then covered with UTEE.  I left the journal spot open...so my girlfriend can do her own journaling...lol.  I promised not to use any names...so that is why there isn't any journaling.  :-)
Close up of the lower left.
Here you can see the painted detail on both the Dusty Attics and my leaves...both big and small.  The large leaves are just cut from cardstock.  I do have some photos of the page in progress.
Here is the detail on the butterfly stamp I designed and carved.
Below are some photos of the page in stages.
I turned this paper on it's side...so she looks more like a Fairy?...vs a woman Dancing.  I cut out around her so that I could slide the next piece under her.
I used the one piece across the top...as a curtain.  The larger purple is what tucks under the fairy..and the journal card I used to tuck under the purple piece.
Here the pieces are starting to come together.
I inked all the purple edges with Ranger's Chipped Sapphire distress ink.  I used vintage photo on the fairy.  Tumbled glass on the journal frame.
Here are the leaves...I just drew them onto a piece of green cardstock.  Then I used Tumbled glass to stamp the image with the background stamp I carved.
Here you can see how I shaded them with Delta Forest green and tinted with Mulberry.  One already has the veins painted in...almost forgot to get a photo...lol.
Here they are all finished.

Here is a close up before I added the perfect pearls accents and pictures, and butterflies.  I do have the leaves and Pink Paislee frame in place.
Here is a photo of what I was going to use as my Image...also from the Graphics Fairy, but luckily my girlfriend gave me a photo.
Here is another photo of the finished piece with my girlfriend's daughter.....Isn't she a Beauty  :-)
Thanks for hanging in there on my really long post!
Have a great day!
Hugs!
